Alfonso D’Agostino from Brescia wins the Dario Galli literary prize

A man from Brescia wins the Dario Galli Award. After a long and careful evaluation of the approximately 200 works arriving at the headquarters of the Dario Galli National Literature Prize, the jurors, Italo Leone(principal of the jury), Laura Calderini, Michela Cimmino, Lucia Mercuri, Giovanna Villella, have decreed the winner of the V Edition. The choice fell on Alfonso D’Agostinoa native of Brescia, is the worthy winner of this edition.

Alfonso D’Agostino, already known in the literary scene for his other works, although of a different nature, was able to win over the jury with his work.

The awarding of the Dario Galli National Literature Prize continues to recall the extraordinary legacy of this great Calabrian poet and the importance of the young publishing house Grafichéditore, which has established this prize since its inception. Now in its sixth edition, the award is confirming itself as a milestone in the Italian literary panorama, celebrating the art of writing.

The publishing house, founded with the aim of promoting and supporting contemporary Italian literature, has grasped the legacy of Dario Galli and decided to honor his memory by establishing the National Literature Prize dedicated to him. Since its first edition, the publishing house has been committed to keeping the memory of Galli alive and to offering a unique opportunity to emerging and non-emerging writers to make themselves known and appreciated on the national literary scene.

The winner’s book, although not yet printed, certainly represents a work of great artistic and literary value. Its selection by the jury of the Dario Galli National Literature Prize testifies to its quality and relevance in the context of contemporary literature. Even if the opinions expressed are those of the judges, we cannot help but eagerly anticipate the release of this volume, confident that it will contribute significantly to the enrichment of our cultural heritage.
