Andrea Dovizioso, world champion in the 125cc category and three-time vice champion in MotoGP, he was the protagonist of a accident occurred in motocross on Tuesday at the Terranuova Bracciolini track, in the province of Arezzo. As a precaution, the pilot was transferred to the Careggi hospital in Florence, but the conditions do not appear to be worrying.
Dovizioso’s condition following the accident
On Tuesday morning, Andrea Dovizioso was rushed to the “Careggi” hospital in Florence following an accident occurred during a motocross session at the Tasso track, in Terranuova Bracciolini, in the province of Arezzo.
The three-time MotoGP world vice-champion from 2017 to 2019, as well as a former 125cc world champion, was rescued by healthcare workers after theaccident, which occurred around 11 in the morning. The driver from Forlì was assisted by the Valdarno ambulance and the Misericordia di San Giovanni ambulance.
Following a careful assessment of the pilot’s condition, the rescuers decided to activate theelimedica Pegaso for the transport of Dovizioso. Fortunately, despite a loss of consciousness after the impact, his condition was not considered critical and his life is not in danger. The former MotoGP rider reported a head trauma in the accident.

The doctors carried out a CT scan which came back negative for serious injuries. However, one was detected from the Romagna pilot fracture of the right clavicle.
At the moment, no further details have been provided on the precise circumstances of the accident or any consequences for the pilot. Andrea is a cross-country enthusiast, so much so that he took charge of the management of the “04 Park” track in Faenza.
