Etiquette from Minister Urso, Alto Adige at the center of the global green transition: Alto Adige will also participate in Paris for the trilateral between Italy, France and Germany.

In his first official visit as vice president and councilor for economic development, Marco Galateo met the Minister of Business and Made in Italy Adolfo Urso, returning the visit he made to the capital on 2 February, the very first day of Galateo’s inauguration in the provincial government.

The Minister anticipated the work of the now tested trilateral format between Italy, France and Germany to the Vice President of the Province of Bolzano and councilor for economic development Marco Galateo. The next meeting will be held in Paris on Monday 8 April. The focus will be on the green economy, for which Minister Urso underlined the excellent work carried out also in Alto Adige, “emblem of the model to follow”.

After Minister Urso’s visit to Apitronic in Bolzano on the occasion of his visit last February, organized together with Galateo, the Minister invited the South Tyrolean company to Paris, as part of a selection of four large Italian industrial companies. “This way an innovative company made in Alto Adige will also be brought into the international context. A sign of the friendship and esteem that exists between the local representatives and the top members of the Meloni government” commented Councilor Galateo himself.

Again in Rome, following on Thursday afternoon, during a meeting with the Deputy Chief of Staff of Mimit, prof. Mario Ciampi, which was also attended by the director of the Provincial Department Antonio Lampis, explored the opportunity of a North-South axis which involves an exchange of experiences, if not a direct participation of the Province with the foundation of the Research Institute of Technopole for sustainable development, which will be built in Taranto in the former Italsider area.

“This would bring South Tyrolean excellence into the leading role of a national project to relaunch technological research and would be a strategic vehicle for the economic promotion of the province of Bolzano. The expertise lies with my colleague Achammer” commented Vice President Galateo.

In a context of ever-increasing relations between Bolzano and Rome, there was also space for a curious aside which saw the Hon. Dieter Steger accompany Innovation Councilor Philipp Achammer for a specific meeting with Minister Urso, following the one with Vice President Galateo. A group photo of the large South Tyrolean delegation with the Minister of Made in Italy could not be missing, before resuming their respective institutional meetings.
