Released in the early hours of this morning, Friday 29 March 2024, with her new album titled “Act II: Cowboy Carter” Beyoncé seems to be back to amaze everyone once again. The American singer’s eighth studio album, in fact, in addition to the return of the artist herself, also sees her return to take inspiration from country music and the country-core style. Following her performance, on the occasion of a commercial broadcast during the 2024 Super Bowl, with the two singles entitled “Texas Hold ‘Em” and “16 Carriages”, and after being praised by some of the most famous artists of the country genre , Beyoncé also became the first black woman to top the Hot Country Songs chart at the end of February 2024 with the aforementioned song “Texas Hold ‘Em”.

Today, however, the release of the new songs and the related analysis of the lyrics has led the singer’s fans and others to new interesting discoveries. As also reported by the “Mirror”, in fact, after updating the lyrics of Dolly Parton’s hit “Jolene”, Beyoncé may have added references to her husband Jay-Z and the scandal linked to the rapper’s betrayal which occurred years ago. In fact, instead of “begging” Jolene to leave her man alone, unlike what was done previously in the original song, the artist “warns” her and states “don’t come for my man”, “find your man ”, leading many to think that these phrases could refer precisely to what happened in his relationship.

Furthermore, among the numerous surprises, there was also a tribute to Italy. In the song “Daughter”, in fact, the artist shows her skill in singing even opera and performs some verses of “Caro mio ben”, a famous motif also reinterpreted by Luciano Pavarotti.
