It’s one 8 year old girl dead on the spot and three other children injured, with an adult, the tragic toll of thecar accident occurred this afternoon at 3.45pm via Pontina Vecchia at the intersection with via della Pescarella, ad Ardea in the province of Rome.
The firefighters of Pomezia, the local police of Ardea and 118 intervened on site, who also sent the air ambulance to the scene. The three injured children are aged between 8 and 10 years and were transported to hospital. The adult, however, was airlifted to San Camillo in Rome under code red.
According to the reconstruction of the local police of the municipality of Ardea – the locality in the province of Rome where the tragic accident occurred this afternoon in which the little girl named Queen Stone – three cars, two Mercedes and an old model Lancia Station Wagon, collided after the driver of the Lancia did not respect the stop sign of the road that leads from via della Pescarella to via Pontina Vecchia.
After the vehicle passed the intersection it collided with a Mercedes, which in turn collided head-on with another car coming from the opposite direction. Another serious road accident occurred on the same road on March 15th. All drivers were tested to see if they were under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The Velletri prosecutor’s office has opened a case for road homicide.
