The balance of this afternoon’s accident ad Ardea it is tragic: a little girl of just 8 years old died, three other children injured, all between 8 and 10 years old and a man transported by air ambulance to a Roman hospital, San Camillo.
The accident occurred at the “usual” intersection where the victims can no longer be counted: that between Via Pontina Vecchia, Via Pescarella and Via Strampelli. Three cars in total were involved.
The intervention of firefighters from the Pomezia detachment was necessary to extract the injured from the twisted sheets of metal. The identity of the young victim is not yet known.
On site, to reconstruct the dynamics, the local police officers of Ardea as well as the 118 who transported the injured to nearby hospitals.

At that same point, on July 25, 2022 there was another victim. The impact between a motorbike and a car claimed the life of Chiara Costantini, 43 years old, from Genzano, who was riding a scooter.
The woman was returning to her workplace in Castelli, after having spent the weekend in the beach house. However, the two people who were in the car were practically unharmed.
The rescuers immediately noticed the woman’s very serious condition and an air ambulance was also called. However, the 43-year-old died before reaching the hospital where an ambulance was taking her.
