I am 120 The fires active in Mexico according to the latest budget executed. This was reported by the National Forestry Commission (Conafor), noting that the fires hit 19 of the 32 states in the country, damaging a total of 7,127 hectares. The most affected regions are Veracruz (2,066 hectares), Hidalgo (1,089 hectares), State of Mexico (Edomex, 1,295 hectares), Guerrero (790 hectares) followed by Jalisco, Chiapas, Durango and Michoacan. Damage was also recorded in 24 protected areas.
The government has deployed seven air teams and over 6,000 officers, including Conafor personnel, state personnel and other mixed personnel, to fight the active fires. Operations are underway in locations in Mexico City, Leon, Hidalgo and Veracruz. Four people involved in putting out the fires diedas President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador reported in his morning press conference.
