Construction disaster in Cagliari: everything stopped in Pirri and in Viale Trieste, third lot on the high seas

Two construction sites, three with the very famous one in Via Roma, continue to paralyze various parts of Cagliari. Starting from Pirri, via Italia: for almost a month, according to the dates of the photos, there was not the shadow of a worker in a small stretch of the long road, where he will have to pass the metro again. You can still see the water pipes, including sewerage. This has now been the situation for over three months, and the first works were supposed to last a maximum of two. :What is most frightening is that work should begin in the entire street in June, so there will be inconveniences for everyone”, write the residents in the Municipality’s public Facebook groups.

In Via Roma, the maxi construction site, barring stops or changes of direction by the future mayor, whoever he may be, has now become an integral part of the panorama. The second tranche will start in July up to Largo Carlo Felice. In the meantime, in Viale Trieste, those who live and work are waiting to see the workers go into action officially and, possibly guaranteeing quick times, between Via Pola and the fork with Viale Trento. After the very first section, which was completed a few months behind the official timetable, the works proceeded a little slower than what residents and traders were used to seeing.
