The Police say that at the moment it is not possible to provide a definitive list of minor injuries, as all the occupants of the bus were initially taken to hospital. Since some passengers were discharged from hospital very quickly and some hospitals do not provide information for data protection reasons, the Leipzig Police Headquarters is not able to provide a complete overview. However, “for completeness and transparency”, it provides the nationalities of all 54 passengers: Germany (18), Bosnia (1), Syria (2), Uzbekistan (1), Afghanistan (4), Slovakia (1), Russia ( 1), Peru (2), Turkey (1), Iran (1), Macedonia (1), USA (2), New Zealand (1), Poland (2), Ukraine (3), France (1), Republic Czech (1), Indonesia (3), China (2), Croatia (2), Canada (1), India (2), Switzerland/Italy (1). The presence on the bus of an Italian-Swiss citizen had already been confirmed to ANSA by a police spokesperson of the Saxon city. However, the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) has already made it known that he is not among the victims (and consequently it is ruled out that he could be the latest victim not yet identified).
