“I’ll blow everything up.” These are the threats that a 42-year-old man shouted at his parents after starting a fire in the house and turning on the gas. It happened in Serpentara at dawn last Friday.
In particular the man, after having threatened his parents with death who did not want to give him the money to buy drugs, attempted to set fire to the house in via Camillo Pilotto by setting fire to a sheet and grabbing a knife with which he then thrown against his mother and father. Furthermore, during the argument, the 42-year-old left the gas on the hob turned on.
The agents of the III Fidene-Serpentara district, who arrived on site, disarmed and blocked him, avoiding the worst. The two parents, slightly injured, were treated on site by 118 personnel. The violent son was instead arrested for mistreatment and extortion against his parents.
At the end of the investigations, the man was taken to the Sant’Andrea hospital for psychiatric evaluation before being subsequently transferred to the Regina Coeli district house available to the judiciary.
