Calcutta conquered the audience of the Locus Festival with the sold out concert of its Relax Tour which opened the twentieth anniversary of one of the events that characterize the Italian summer of music on 28 June at the Fiera del Levante in Bari. The set list includes the most loved songs by the Bomba Dischi artist: from Coro to Due minuti, from Cosa mi manchi a fare to Controtempo, from Orgasmo a Milano. And then Limonata, Loneliness, Giro con te, Hubner, Intermezzo 3, Le boats and Oroscopo (acoustics on the piano), Gaetano, Preoccuparmi, Frosinone, Del verde, SSD, Allegria, up to Paracetamol, Pesto and the grand finale with Tutti.

Songs sung at the top of their lungs not only by millenials who see Calcutta as the anti-star they can identify with. Between hopes and disillusionments. “That we all seem to be failures, all failures!”. Bologna and national team striker Riccardo Orsolini also attended the concert, one of the greats excluded from coach Spalletti’s squad for the European championship, who posted a story on Instagram during the performance of the song Frosinone, modified for the occasion with the phrase “And Bologna in the Champions League”.

On June 29, the Locus Festival, part of the seventh edition of the Festa del Mare, the only summer program in Bari, will be split in two. At the Rotonda di via Paolo Pinto it will be the turn of two aces of the Italian rap scene: Salmo & Noyz Narcos, who will be on the stage overlooking the Bari seafront with tracks from their joint album “CVLT”.

At the same time, inside the Petruzzelli theatre, the magnetic Irish singer-songwriter, guitarist and actor Glen Hansard arrives. On the 30th, the three-day Bari festival closes with a legendary concert: from Glasgow, Simple Minds return to Puglia for a single date in Southern Italy, led by the unmistakable voice of Jim Kerr and the distinctive talent of guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Charlie Burchill.

A precious opportunity to celebrate over forty years of career spent at the top of the charts all over the world thanks to unforgettable hits such as “Don’t You (Forget About Me)” and “Alive and Kicking”.
