Lotito-Gualtieri meeting: here’s when it will be held

As reported by the Roman online newspaper The capitalthis morning the date of the meeting that will be held in the Campidoglio between Lotito and Gualtieri was set: the meeting will take place on Monday 8th July.

Flaminio Stadium, the usual parking problem

In the document, Lotito expressed interest in the renovation of the Flaminio Stadium, which has been unused for 13 years, in full compliance with current regulations and constraints. As explained by Maurizio Veloccia, Councilor for Urban Planning, it remains to be seen whether the new project will be able to overcome all the issues that make the redevelopment of the Flaminio so complex. The main problem concerns the parking lots, which cannot be underground since in 2008 it was discovered, by Special Superintendency for the Archaeological Heritage of Rome, a necropolis beneath the facility. It will therefore be necessary to find an alternative, but what matters is that on Monday Lotito and Gualtieri will discuss all the issues necessary to evaluate the feasibility of the works.

The Biancocelesti fans can only wait with trepidation, but it seems that something is (finally) moving.
