Based on what was reported by the well-known leaker eXtas1s on the pages of this eXputer, it seems that Xbox Game Studios has made an agreement for the publication of the new game by Panache Digital Gamesthe team founded by creator of Assassin’s Creed.
This is the studio founded by Patrice Désiletsknown for having been among the main creators of the Assassin’s Creed saga in Ubisoft, then left the French company to found the indie team in question, with which he recently published Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey.
The latter demonstrated that the developer still has some valid ideas to put into play, even if the human evolution applied to the video game was not perfect, however the game stood out for its notable originality.
Perhaps this innovative push would have led Xbox Game Studios Publishing to make an agreement for the publication of the next Panache game, according to the leaker in question.
Obviously everything should be taken as a rumor, but eXtas1s has a good track record behind it, so it could be plausible.
We don’t know what it is, but speculation leads us to think that the game to be developed and published is precisely that elusive 1666: Amsterdam which seemed to be the next big project for the promising Désilets to complete, but which has not yet managed to reach completion, also due to the sheer size of the game.
It would be an action adventure with some elements of contact with Assassin’s Creed, starting from the historical setting and the general setting of the gameplay, but with some innovative elements. However, for the moment these are only uncontrolled rumors, awaiting any clarification.
