Haier presented in Paris, during the final weekend of Roland Garros of which it is a partner, the new range of X Serie11 washing machines and dryers. Two products that want to position themselves among the “number ones” in the sector and, from the characteristics that we were able to see in Paris, they could get there without too many difficulties. The washing machine is able to reach energy class A-50%among the best on the market, and has a feature that will make it very interesting for many Italian families: Ultra Fresh Air technology, a continuous air flow system in the drum that refreshes the clothes, keeping them dry and preventing the spread of bacteria and bad odors for up to 12 hours after the end of the cycle. Among the most interesting features of the dryer, however, there is a motor that allows you to rotate the basket clockwise and anticlockwise, as well as I-Refresh Proa “secret compartment” where you can add fragrances which, when vaporised, will give an extra touch of freshness to the garments.
What is the X Series 11 washing machine like?
Coming to the technical characteristics of the products: the X Series 11 washing machine, which is already available on the Haier website and will soon be available in selected Italian sales points, has a load capacity of 10 and 11 kg and has a Direct Motion motor guarantees energy efficiency and minimum noise. The inner surface of the drum has a laser welding finish which resembles that of a pillow, to make washing as low-impact as possible, then the glass door is designed for countless washes and to not cause problems for those with children at home who could cling to the appliance. In the end, the Smart Dosing system which allows you to reduce detergent and fabric softener refills and allows the appliance to use the appropriate amount of detergent. The price is also top of the range: it starts from 1,199 euros.
What is the X Series 11 dryer like
The X Series 11 dryer has a load capacity of 9 kg and a Dual Engine Inverter motor which features the innovative Twin Motor with Ultra Reverse Drum. This feature prevents the garments from tangling thanks to the bidirectional movement of equal duration, an absolute novelty on the market. Then, the Flexy Air function, which allows you to adjust the air flow to the desired intensity, choosing between 5 levels based on the time and type of fabric to dry. The dryer, in energy class A+++ -10% then has a “secret” compartment where to collect the fragrance we prefer, in liquid or solid format, which is conveniently applied via a magnet to the internal wall of the device. Other interesting conveniences are the filters, with three layers, which can be removed and inserted without difficulty with a single gesture. The cost? The figure is close to 2 thousand euros (1899 euros from list price).
The devices communicate with the hOn app
Washing machines and dryers can be connected to the hOn app, which makes their use a tailor-made experience based on personal habits, usage preferences and the needs of each individual wash – totally customizable. Thanks to the integrated AI, the X Series 11 washing machine can automatically detect the quantity and type of fabrics present in the laundry, to regulate the wash and dose the detergent among over 2500 possible combinations, while the dryer is able to automatically recognize the type of garment, fabric and load size to set the perfect cycle. It is also possible scan and archive washing labels to create a Virtual Closet and always know how to best wash and dry each garment.
