At the Summer Game Fest 2024 the official announcement has arrived: a new one Horizon it’s official and will be in LEGO style.
After the recent Forbidden West (you can find it on Amazon), PlayStation wants to go back to putting Aloy on stage, but in bricks.
This is a decidedly special video game compared to what has been done so far with one of PlayStation’s flagship franchises: a LEGO game.
LEGO Horizon Adventures it was in fact announced during the Summer Game Fest 2024.
The description via PS Blog reads:
In the distant future, the earth is made of LEGO bricks and incredible dinosaur-like machines roam the Earth. Aloy, the game’s protagonist, is found as a child in a cave and raised by a grizzled hunter named Rost, who teaches her the ways of the wild.
One day, Aloy embarks on a mission to discover her true destiny. Guided by the thousand-year-old hologram of a scientist named Elisabet, Aloy must face Helis, the leader of a group of sun worshipers who bow to an ancient evil shrouded in mystery.
Aloy and her friends have much more in store: their adventure will take them across the highest mountains and deepest cauldrons, all beautifully recreated with LEGO elements.
It’s still: «Follow your own adventure or share the fun with another player via couch or online co-op. LEGO Horizon Adventures is designed for two-player action without the need for split-screen, offering the opportunity for family and friends to develop bonds through collaborative play.”
The title is therefore a brick-based action adventure coming out on Nintendo Switch, PS5 and PC simultaneously.
More importantly, the game will also have a mode local couch co-opas well as obviously options for online gaming.
