To the delight of old school collectors, Alan Wake 2 will be released in physical format during autumn 2024, filling one of the biggest gaps in the launch, which we remember took place last October exclusively digitally. There will be two versions arriving on physical shelves, namely the Physical Deluxe Edition and physical Collector’s Edition. The first will probably contain the base game and the expansions, while the contents of the second are not yet known, luckily we won’t have to wait long to remove any doubts since pre-orders will start in the next 24 hours.
Speaking of additional content, Sam Lake also presented while he was on stage the Night Springs trailerthe first expansion of Alan Wake 2, and revealed that the launch is scheduled for today 8 June 2024. The expansion will put you in the shoes of the Time Breaker allowing you to live three distinct what-if scenarios within the increasingly vast Remedy Universe.
