Instagram, be careful with this function: it can be very dangerous
According to what the creator stated, in fact, users should be very careful about an Instagram feature which is described as potentially dangerous. But what is it exactly? Let’s try to understand it together.
The first thing to do is obviously go to your Instagram profile. At the top right we will easily notice the three lines: click on them to bring up another screen. The first option we will be faced with is ‘Account Management Center’ and that’s exactly what interests us.
We press on this item to open a further screen. Looking at the bottom we will immediately find the ‘Your information and authorizations’ option: after clicking on this item we must then go to ‘Your business outside of Meta technologies’. Here we will be able to have access to all the websites we have visited up to that point connected to our Instagram account.
How to prevent your information from being sent by Instagram
The ‘knot’ is precisely this. Meta’s social platform can see everything we do with these sites, even sending our private information. How to avoid it? The procedure is really very simple. Just click on ‘Recent activity’ and then on the site that interests us. Once this is done, click on ‘Disconnect’.
Once this step has been completed, go back and click on Manage future activity and finally on Disconnect future activity. With this method our privacy will be much safer.
