The new interface useful for providing quick answers has been in the testing phase for a few months, with the launch taking place last February. Recently though the latest innovation from Google has caught the attention of some users of the platform.

The Gmail app for Android receives this important function on the server side, designed to make the more instant email conversations. The new section is enriched with all the any suggested answers from the app and the persistent navigation bar (present only with Google Meet and Google Chat tabs activated).

It is present in the area to the left of the bar a paperclip icon that allows you to attach any files to the response message, while with the arrow on the left the possibility of selecting three items emerges: “Answers“, “Forward” And “Change recipients” . On the right there is space for the button to send the message and the one to open the list of emojis.

By touching the field dedicated to the text è you can immediately write the answer, without having to open a new screen, so as to make this experience more similar to that of a chat. To have the screen full screen you can select the reference icon that appears after you start typing.

Gmail’s new Quick Reply bar is not currently available to all users. As mentioned, this is proposed on the server side, but it is possible check if you have the latest version of the app through Google Play Store.
