GTA 6 finally has a launch window

The 2025 it will undoubtedly be the year of GTA 6. However, if until a few hours ago all we knew was that the new episode of the beloved saga of RockstarGames would have arrived next year, now we have a precise launch window.

GTA 6 will officially release in Fall 2025: it was announced Take Two Interactivethe company that owns Rockstar, on the occasion of the publication of its financial results for the fourth quarter and for the fiscal year 2024.

At the moment there are no more details on the launch date (no day or month, in short), with CEO Strauss Zelnick who, invited to give more information by Varietyhe simply said that «I’ll leave it at that for now. That announcement will come from Rockstar and will be consistent with how they will promote the game.”.

No announcements of definitive dates from a simple note on taxation, in short, from which comes only the generic launch window which will be useful to give investors an idea what the next steps are for Take-Two’s business.

Interviewed by IGN USA regarding a possible postponement of the game – which is actually usual for Rockstar projects, which usually end up being postponed by a few months compared to the first announced date – Zelnick added:

“We will talk highly confident about releasing GTA VI in Fall 2025».

In short, no worries, at least for the moment, about possible slippages: for Take-Two Interactive, the autumn 2025 window should be able to be respected.

Announced in December last year, GTA VI it will be the first original episode of the saga since the hyper-long-lived GTA Vout now over ten years ago and supported by the ever populous GTA Online.

The game will take us back to Vice City and, which perhaps won’t surprise you, its first trailer immediately recorded dizzying numbers, demonstrating in case anything was needed how high the public’s fever is for the arrival of a new Grand Theft Auto.

We are now waiting for news, aware that there is still more than a year left until launch.
