After promising the arrival of great news for Starfield, Todd Howard takes the opportunity offered to him by IGN.com to discuss the announcement and launch date of Fallout 5 by sharing reflections on the mistakes made in the past by Bethesda’s communication machine.
In referring to the enormous interest aroused by the miraculous Fallout TV series, the Bethesda Game Studios representative does not hide his enthusiasm for the community’s ‘return of flame’ but, in looking to the future represented by Fallout 5, he also says he is aware of the errors made in the past in prematurely providing indications on launch times.
“Are you asking me when Fallout 5 comes out? Well, From now on I will avoid putting dates on anything. It’s a mistake I won’t make again, it’s a lesson I learned the hard way and the hard way.”. However, Bethesda’s top official suggests that the waiting times for Fallout 5 will be quite long, due to the fact that “for the future we’re focused on The Elder Scrolls VI but that doesn’t mean we’re not working on other things like Starfield. We’re busy on Fallout 76, and then there are so many people who are getting hooked on the Fallout games and want to rediscover them. Surprisingly, it’s a very, very beautiful apocalypse!”.
