“In Sant’Angelo even an ambulance was stuck, it could have ended badly”

Viterbo – Municipality – Andrea Micci (Lega) returns to point the finger at the Frontini administration – The fairytale country becomes a nightmare at the weekend and goes haywire for cars but zero measures

Viterbo – “An ambulance was supposed to intervene for an emergency in the square and was stuck”. Andrea Micci (Lega) returns to raise the critical traffic situation in the hamlet of Sant’Angelo.

Viterbo – Traffic at a standstill in Sant’Angelo

The fairytale land turns into a nightmare on weekends and holidays. For visitors and residents.

Lots of people, therefore lots of cars. Do-it-yourself stop, queues, but for the municipality everything is fine. If it is true as Micci claims, there have been zero measures so far.

Viterbo – The ambulance in a square in Sant’Angelo

“On Sunday, an ambulance took half an hour to travel along the municipal road – Micci told the city council – and get to the square. Luckily it was a minor illness. If it had been a heart attack today we would be talking about something else.

I remember that there is still a closed road there. All this time I imagined that at least the administration had given a mandate for the planning. Instead, everything goes on in complete disinterest.”

Previously they at least tried to do something: “There was civil protection – Micci recalls – and the local police stopped by. Now there is anarchy, cars parked on all sides of the roads and transit is blocked.” Unsustainable situation.

“It’s difficult to move around on holidays. The citizens also wrote to the prefect. The problem is that this administration is doing nothing for the hamlets.”
