We are now close to the landing of Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut on PC and, to prepare for the launch of the game on the new platform, the developers have also published an update on PlayStation.

The main goal of the update, which brings the game to version 2.19is to prepare the console version of the game to support the cross-play and all the new features of the game. For those who don’t know, in fact, Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut will not only allow PC and PlayStation users to play together in the Legends online cooperative mode, but it will be the first PlayStation game ever to support Trophies on PC too: in the title we will find a special menu through which it will be possible to view Trophies and see active friends on Sony platforms.

Obviously this is not the only new feature of the update, given that Sucker Punch also took advantage of it to make some small changes that will also be available on PC at launch. As the developers made known on X/Twitter, the patch will fix two different problems encountered by users in Legends: the first occurred upon reaching Level 999, the other consisted of a glitch thanks to which users could invite more people in the 2-player modes.

For those who don’t know, the release date of Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut on PC is set for May 16, 2024, the day on which it will be available on both Steam and the Epic Games Store.
