Marco Falaschi will also be part of the Pallavolo Padova roster for the next SuperLega 2024_25 season. The Tuscan athlete born in 1987, in his second year in the Paduan capital, can boast in his sporting career, in addition to winning the Italian Cup and the Scudetto with Lube, numerous appearances for Italy and abroad. In Europe he has won several titles, such as a scudetto and a cup in Montenegro and a cup and super cup in Poland.
Falaschi expressed his satisfaction with the reconfirmationunderlining the importance of the team that was created and the goal of salvation achieved three days early last season. “I have to say that I am very happy. Over the last year, here in Padua, a good working group has been created with the various players and all the team staff, so continuing in this club makes me really happy. Another positive note is the fact that we reached the goal we had set for ourselves three days early, which allowed us to play the last matches with greater tranquility, concentrating on continuing the group’s growth path.”.
Regarding the past season, he then drew a positive balance, highlighting the team’s commitment and cohesion: “The balance of the SuperLega season that has just ended is certainly positive. Our championship is particular, in that you have to start looking for points early and, consequently, you have to find the right chemistry right away, as it was for us. At the start of the championship we immediately obtained some important points against direct competitors, then there was a moment of decline in the central part, but the team responded well. We all worked in the same direction and this was the most important thing.”.
“I’m enjoying myself absolutely well in Padua, both in terms of the club, which is historic in the Super League and well organised, and in terms of the city, which is truly livable and young. I think a good group has been created, some players will remain and this is certainly an excellent base from which to start again for next season. If I were to now set myself a goal to achieve as a team, for the 2024_25 championship, it is clear that it would be to try to achieve a slightly more ambitious objective. However, we must not forget that the level of the Super League rises every year and, looking at the other teams, it is clear that the primary thing is certainly remaining in Serie A.”
