Nintendo Switch continues its life cycle tirelessly: arriving in March 2017, the hybrid console of the big N has completed and passed the turning point of seven years a few weeks ago and, rather than laying down its arms, continues to prepare the line-up of upcoming titles arriving.

The April 17 Nintendo has thus set an appointment with a new one Indie Worlda mini-direct of about 20 minutes in which to attend the presentation of small independent productions by partners of the Kyoto house.

Little Kitty, Big City

Let’s talk about a game in which you will dress up the clothes of a kittenand that’s actually all we needed to know!

We will be able to run around the city in search of adventures, as the title suggests: at the beginning of the adventure, we will fall from our refuge and find ourselves trying to return home. It will also be possible customize our cat, with hats and emotes that will delight cat lovers. «Along the way, there’s no shortage of things to do: explore a lively city, complete quests, lend a paw to animals in need, and befriend chatty strays», add the authors.

Yars Rising

Wayforward and Atari showed their lively up close Yars Risinga sci-fi adventure in which we will take on the role of a hacker involved in an international intrigue, while we will move two-dimensional scenarios.

The exit is awaited later this year and the game wants to re-explore the Atari classic Yar’s Revenge. «Also included is a series of challenging minigames that pay homage to the Yar’s Revenge original» underlines the publisher, in this regard.


Refind Self: The Personality Test Game

We will take on the role of an android who search for your own identitywhile our decisions they will reveal something more about usbecause there will be no right or wrong choices when we decide how to behave towards others.

At the end of the game we will discover our personality type among the 23 possible ones, thus learning a little more about our identity – the real one, of course. It will also be possible to share the result and find out what personality our friends got.

The exit is awaited for summer 2024.


StickyBusiness

The authors of StickyBusinessa relaxing game that we have reviewed on our pages, bear their appreciated title also on Nintendo Switchputting you at the helm of a picturesque sticker shop.

As you create yours and sell them (in-game, of course), you will discover more about your customers and their lives – who is looking for love, who has lost it, who will tell you how things are going in the family and so Street. There will also be a DLC with ten additional stories.

The Switch release is happened todayTherefore you can already play it. There is also a unique bundle with DLC included.


Antonblast

Definitely peculiar artistic direction for this two-dimensional action game, which arrives on November 12 on Switch.

Valley Peaks

Climb, wander and explore mountain peaks in this adventure coming soon 2024 it wants to test you but also relax you, as the authors explain.

«As the new technician assigned to the peaks, explore and experiment to your heart’s content seemingly impossible challenges. Between one climb and another you will be able to do friendship with the locals or take on small side missions, such as accumulating stamps to unlock equipment» we learn from the official description. «Or, if you prefer, relax with minigames as you satisfy the needs of the valley’s inhabitants».

The artistic direction is curious, with very autumnal colors and an almost “paper” style, as you will notice from the trailer.


Lorelei and the Laser Eyes

From the authors of Sayonara Wild Hearts here comes a new adventure with a rather dark atmosphere, including puzzles and vaguely disturbing labyrinths, set in a hotel in Central Europe.

Here, we will have to solve over 100 puzzles created by hand, which play with always different mechanics and perspectives, to try to get to the bottom of the greatest mystery of all, which animates Lorelei and the Laser Eyes.

Here comes the May 16th on Switch, published by Annapurna Interactive.


Europe

Irresistible for its colorful world, Europe finds new space on Indie Direct with a small presentation by its author followed by a trailer.

We will take on the role of a young explorer who wants to build something better than what we left behind on Earth.

The game, we remember, is available from today.


Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splinter’s Tale

The Turtles meet the roguelike in an adventure where they will face portals that can alter reality, while trying to find Master Splinter.

Each of the protagonists will obviously have the his iconic weapon and we will be able to improve them to make them more and more powerful, ready to face the enemies that come before us, in scenarios that will be shown with an isometric view – a bit à la Hadesif you allow us.

There will also be the possibility of play online with up to three playersbut only if you want to: alternatively, you can play offline by yourself.

The release is expected for July 2024 on Nintendo Switch.

Cat Quest III

Time for new feline adventures for this Indie Direct, with a closer look at Cat Quest III and the pi-rats with whom our daredevil protagonist will have to deal.

We will be able to run around and fight with our ship, but also on land, and also choose to play in local co-op with a friend, to accompany us on our raids.

The release is set for August 18thone free demo is available from today on eShoptogether with the pre-order.

Stitch.

The authors of Stitch.an embroidery game in which you create imaginative patterns, reveal their title to us ready to arrive on Switch with some completely original schemes.

This is another title from the “cozy” genre of relaxing pastime games, in which we will have to embroider, avoiding overlaps and composing the suggested figures – from penguins to teddy bears, through hot air balloons and abstract colored patterns remotely similar to mandalas.

The experience is meant to be “relaxed and meditative” and you can play even with touch controls of the Switch screen.

It’s available starting today as a console exclusive.

SteamWorld Heist II

Now that the waters have become lethal for the robotic inhabitants, we will have to explore the Great Sea to find out what happened, in SteamWorld Heist II.

The adventure, completely new, will ask us to play with the ricochet of our bullets and also to face naval combatthanks to the customization of our submarine.

It will also be possible to recruit the steambots we meet, to follow us on our travels, and enjoy a system of classes customizable, as well as more than 150 weapons different ones to equip everyone with.

«This time you’ll find a world map to explore, with real-time naval combat against enemy vessels. Additionally, this sequel includes a class system with in-depth customization options that, along with more than 150 weapons, tools and pieces of ship equipment, will allow you to strategically adapt your team to its current mission» explains the official description of the game.

Each crew member also has unique abilities. The release is expected forAugust 8 on Nintendo Switch.
