Dragon’s Dogma 2: update available on PC and PS5 for saves and graphics, then on Xbox

Capcom has released the long-awaited update for Dragon’s Dogma 2aimed above all at resolving concerning elements saves and graphicsavailable at this time on PC and PS5 with the Xbox version arriving in the next few days.

It does not appear to be a particularly extensive update but it is important for users, above all because it introduces a feature whose absence had caused some discussion, namely the possibility of being able to start a new game even if a save has already been made.

Previously, in fact, Dragon’s Dogma allowed a single save slot and, once used, it was impossible to start a new game without somehow deleting the user’s data from the system, while with the patch the option for a new game will be restored.

As for the PC version, the update, in addition to introducing the option for a new game, also fixes some technical elements, in particular improving the quality of the graphics when using the DLSS NVIDIA Super Resolution, as well as correcting problems related to some specific monitor settings.

On PS5, the update changes the amount of “Art of Metamorphosis” items available at guilds to 99. It also makes the quest that allows players to acquire your own home closest to the immediate start of the game.

This is an important change, because as all Dragon’s Dogma 2 players will have discovered, in order to save the game in a stable manner it is necessary to do it in this position, so with the update the possibility should be available from before.

On PS5 the option to disable motion blur and Ray Tracing is also included, as well as that of inserting the cap at frame-rate at 30 fpsas well as various bug fixes.

There Xbox version of the update will be published “in the next few days”, still without a precise date in this regard. To learn more about the game, we refer you to our review of Dragon’s Dogma 2.
