OFFICIAL LBA – Pallacanestro Trieste: Michele Ruzzier confirmed

Pallacanestro Trieste and Michele Ruzzier still together in the 2024-2025 season. The director from Trieste had promised: “we will do everything to bring Trieste back to where it deserves”, and he kept his word. Ruz will be part of the roster entrusted to coach Jamion Christian in the next championship, the third consecutive with his city’s shirt

“It is with immense pride and pleasure – commented the GM of Pallacanestro Trieste Michael Arcieri – that we announce the return of Michele Ruzzier to our team for the 2024-25 season! There is nothing more authentic and exciting than seeing one of the favorite sons of Trieste basketball wear the red and white again to help his city pursue basketball excellence. Michele, with his elegant and measured style, full of pride and desire to win, showed a brilliance on the pitch that took us to the top of Italian basketball. He has enriched his game with new facets and provided inspired leadership. We are thrilled that he continues to consider PalaTrieste his ‘home’ and we look at his successes with great admiration.”

Michele, who closed the season as MVP of the Playoff Final, played a fundamental role in the promotion of Pallacanestro Trieste to Serie A, bringing to the field an ability to read and build the game that is absolutely out of category, things that, when combined with his attachment to this jersey, made him one of the most decisive players in the entire Serie A2.
For him, over 13 points on average and almost 6 assists per game this season, with a significant 37% from three points, also a symptom of a profound evolution of the player under the care of coach Christian. Now he is ready to step on the most important parquets in Italy again, still wearing the red and white, to take Trieste to the top.
