Florence, 28 June 2024 – A Saturday of great sport in Florence with the start of the Tour de France. The Grande Boucle will have a unofficial start at Farmhousesfrom where the runners will start a walkway that will take them, among other things, to the Old Bridge and then to Michelangelo Square. Then, through Viale Europa, go towards the actual departure which will be practically in front of Viola Park in Bath in Ripoli. From here, through Pontassieve and Rufina, they will go towards Romagna.

The Tuscan route of the Tour de France will take place entirely in the province of Florence

To allow the passage of athletes, parking bans will be established in the streets and squares mentioned above (from 8pm Friday, June 28 until 2pm on Saturday 29th) and in transit (from 9 on Saturday 29 June until 2pm). After 2pm, barriers and prohibitions will be removed and the situation will return to normal.
