Bagnaia in first position ahead of Maverick Viñales and Alex Márquez
There was a lot of action on the track right away during the 60 minutes of pre-qualifying practice, with all the drivers rushing to get on track to try and optimize the time available. The Ducati riders continue the work they started in the morning, taking to the track with medium tire on the rear. This is probably a job in preparation for the Sunday race. All the others instead started the shift with rubber Soft at the rear, solution plausible for the Sprint Race Saturday. Yamaha continued its comparison work started in the morning with a new exhaust ““cigarette”available to both pilots.
About 20 minutes from the end of the session all the drivers returned to the pits to prepare for the “time attack”opting mainly for a pair of Soft at the front and rear. The fastest time in the Dutch GP practice sessions was achieved by Francesco Bagnaia than with his 1:31.340 goes under last year’s pole recordBehind him we find the Aprilia of Maverick Vinales and the Ducati of Team Gresini of Alex Márquez. In fourth position was the other Aprilia Alex Espargaro, victim of a bad fall during the last lap which saw him leave the track on a stretcher. Fifth Jorge Martinfollowed by Marc Márquez, Binder e Bastianini. The last two places valid for direct passage to Q2 were won by Raul Fernandez e Franco Morbidelli.
