Jannik Sinner, the world number one, is preparing to face Wimbledon 2024 with great expectations. The first opponent will be Yannick Hanfmann, the German number 95 in the ranking. After a series of impressive victories, the 22-year-old from Alto Adige aims to conquer the prestigious London tournament, the third seasonal appointment of the Grand Slam. 2024 has been a memorable year for Sinner so far, despite some physical problems: he started the season by triumphing at the Australian Open, followed by victories at the ATP 500 in Rotterdam and the Miami Open. More recently, he conquered the ATP 500 in Halle, his first career success on grass. All results that have helped him reach and consolidate his position as number 1 in the world ranking. Last year, Sinner stopped at the semifinal of the London tournament, defeated by Djokovic: the goal this year is to try to go even further.
