The Portuguese striker rejected the offer from Al-Hilal, a club coached by his teacher Jorge Jesus: he only wants Milan
Rafa Leao says no to Arabia. In the last few hours, the Portuguese striker has come under scrutiny of Al-Hilala club that plays in the Saudi Pro League and coached by Jorge Jesus, the coach who launched Leao into adult football. An idea that, however, will remain as such: Leao has made it known that he does not want to leave Milan and European football to move to Arabia. Not even in the face of a monstrous offer from 20 million euros per year.
The offer, as reported in today’s edition of Corriere dello Sportwas also presented to Antonio Leao, father and representative of the Rossoneri striker. In the discussions we had with the Saudi club, the will of Leao and Milan itself have always been very clear: the Rossoneri club would only sell Leao in exchange for the payment of the 175 million release clause. In vain, therefore, the offer from 100 million that the Saudi club was ready to propose. The will of the player is also decisive, as he has reiterated several times that he wants to give top priority to Milan.
