Another shot fromApriliawhich also announced after the official arrival of Jorge Martin Marco Bezzecchi. Both drivers from the season 2025 they will race with the Noale factory team, forming a lineup with enormous potential. Massimo RivolaCEO of Aprilia Racing, commented on Sky Sport on his team’s latest market coup.

After the blitz to bring Martin home, Bezzecchi’s signature arrived. It’s almost a return to the tradition that wanted an Italian rider on an Italian motorbike…

“Yes, it’s true, it’s a piece that was missing. We are very happy and I must say that the Martin and Bezzecchi duo finished the world championship 2nd and 3rd last year, so it’s a stimulus for us and we have to give them the best bike possible “.

For Jorge Martin it was a night blitz, how did it go with Bezzecchi?

“This negotiation was cooked over a slower heat, so to speak. Marco was one of our objectives, what happened with Jorge was the result of the timing, of what was the Mugello event with the tests the following day. Something that It’s such a pleasure that Marco wanted to come to us, ride our bike and be with our team. We welcomed him with open arms, for now only metaphorically and from next year also physically.”

There was this very funny statement in which Bezzecchi solves the Rubik’s cube very quickly. Do you know what the world record is for solving it?

“A few seconds, I also have my children who are very good at it. I don’t have the faintest idea, but fortunately we have someone who can solve it for us.”

Speaking of speed, what do you expect from him given the important results he has achieved so far?

“I expect him to adapt as quickly as possible. Obviously when a team changes both riders it takes a risk, but when you have talents like that of Marco and Jorge we can only be optimistic. We can’t wait to see him in the saddle, but there’s still more than half the season left and we need to stay focused on what we do now, not on what we will do.”

Vinales, who had found a family here, why did he make the decision to leave the team and go to KTM?

“I believe that with us Maverick didn’t feel he could repeat the performance he did in Austin every Sunday. I believe that even the challenge of being able to win with 4 different manufacturers is something unique that he can achieve. For us, Vinales was a successful bet, because since we took him from Yamaha we have managed to see him win after many podiums. I am very satisfied with the work he has done with us, but the season is still long and I expect him to be able to go strong already from Assen.”

Will you be one of the strongest teams next year? There is also a Bagnaia-Marquez…

“I believe that the next championship, given the pairs that are there, will be one of the best ever. We are preparing a team to be among those who will compete for something important, then we will have to create an equally competitive bike but the ambition is high”.

A prediction for the Italy match?

“You’re putting me in difficulty… Even if a draw is enough, I think the mentality is to go there to win.”

How does it work when you do these market “blitz”? What path is usually taken in such important negotiations?

“Normally the managers, who are very skilled in the paddock, come knocking on our door and vice versa. I’m particularly happy with Marco because 4 years ago, when we found ourselves without a driver, he was the first to whom I had offered the possibility of coming to MotoGP. He had an agreement with VR46 in Moto2, he knew he would have another with that team and he wanted to arrive in the top class a little better prepared. Even then, despite the impetuosity of a rider who always dreams of arriving in MotoGP , had made a decision that I was sorry about but as a mature driver and aware of his abilities, I was doubly happy to announce it today.”
