Lewis Hamilton yellow, even the police intervene: a real earthquake is occurring in the world of Formula 1

In these last hours, in the world of Formula 1, we are talking about nothing else about a story that sees Mercedes and its driver, Lewis Hamilton, as protagonists. Apparently it all started with an email, which ended up being anonymous, which was sent to journalists and other protagonists in the paddock. The content is abhorrent to say the least.

There was even talk of possible sabotage by the team to the detriment of the future Ferrari driver. News that, obviously, sent people into a rage Toto Wolff. The current team principal of the German team did not inform them about this latest case which exploded in the nearby paddock Spanish Grand Prix of F1.

This is by no means the first case to occur. Already, last April, it was Red Bull and Horner’s turn, now it was Mercedes’ turn. Wolff called the author of this content a “madman”. The reason for this alleged sabotage? An agreement has already been reached for next year between the British driver and Ferrari

Anonymous email, Mercedes sabotages Hamilton: Wolff’s fury

News that Wolff himself wanted to deny in all respects. So much so that he asked for prompt help from the police who are already investigating to find out who was the sender of this email which was very unwelcome to Mercedes.

Regarding these accusations, the words from the Austrian manager were immediate: “We are talking about something truly shocking. There are even those who talk about death. We respect all of Lewis’ reasons for deciding to choose Ferrari next season. We don’t have any kind of grievance about it“. At the conference, in front of journalists and the media, you revealed that your relationship with Hamilton, despite the confirmed farewell at the end of the year, will continue to be optimal and one of friendship.

The content of the email, therefore, is totally false according to Wolff who asked for an investigation to clarify the matter: “We asked to search for the sender by IP address. I’ve had enough of this online abuse. Stop hiding behind a phone and pointing the finger at the pilots“.
