Formula 1 2024, exclusive live broadcast of the Spanish GP on Sky Sport and NOW

Arriving on Sky e streaming on NOWanother weekend full of adrenaline. It goes on stage this weekend Spanish Grand Prixtenth race of the season and home race for Carlos Sainz. There Scuderia Ferrari HP wants to move on from the negative trip to Montreal and aims to return to fighting for the top positions at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

The track. The track has undergone significant changes in recent years: in 2021, turns 10 and 11 were reshaped into a long hairpin and in 2023 the unloved final chicane – which was a thorn in the side of the drivers and especially the cars because it was located at end of the lap and was very demanding in terms of traction – it returned to its initial layout, with two very fast final corners launching at full speed onto the starting straight. These changes didn’t add major passing zones, but they certainly improved the spectacle. The ideal place to try to overtake is at the bottom of the over a kilometer long straight but Turns 5 and 10 also offer opportunities.

Dedicated bleacher. As usual in the home race Carlos Sainz has provided a grandstand for its most passionate fans. The Spaniards can’t wait to embrace the Madrid native who has always finished in the points here.
