According to what was reported by the German newspaper AMuSthe Red Bull she would be ready to attack Ferrari and McLaren: let’s see together why.
Red Bull on a rampage: the reason
Last August, the International Federation introduced a new directive on front wing flexibility.
It is no secret that this regulatory change has contributed to the decline of Aston Martin in the second part of the season, but it would be causing gods dissatisfied even in recent weeks.
As we told you a few days ago, in fact, the Red Bull seemed to be ready to ask the FIA to launch an investigation into the legality of Mercedesprecisely because of the front element of the W15.
As the days pass, however, the feeling is that the Austrian team is not satisfied not even what we saw on Ferrari and McLaren.
Protest as an end in itself?
According to the team led by Christian Hornerits main rivals would be exploiting a gray area of the technical regulations; as the Federation is unable to intervene in any way.
The only one test which must be overcome by the front wings is, in fact, carried out with the car stationary, and not at high speeds. Once the component can withstand the intended load, it becomes legal in all respects.
It will therefore be interesting to try to understand what Red Bull will do to support his thesis, because at the moment he seems to have the Tied hands.
