Among the best young people in his role in 2020, the Portuguese striker owned by Wolverhampton, Fabio Silva, is part of the casting of Palladino’s new Fiorentina. The central striker, left wing if necessary, born in 2002, is one of the many names that Pradè and Goretti are keeping under control. In an interview granted to TuttomercatoWeb.com, his agent Carlos Oliveira tried to take stock of his client and the possible clubs that could come forward this summer. Here are his statements:
How would you see him in Serie A?
“I think it’s an excellent championship for him, we are prioritizing the Spanish and Italian markets for next season. I believe that one of the two championships will be the next step for Fabio.”
Last year many Italian clubs were interested in him, did they contact you again?
“Yes, there was a lot of interest at the beginning of the season and then also in January. The Italian market is a bit particular, many clubs conclude their final transfer deals in the last few days.”
Both Bologna and Fiorentina are looking for a striker, have you received a call from them?
“Fabio is among their options. Giovanni Sartori, who I consider a master, and Bologna’s sporting director, Marco Di Vaio, appreciate Fabio. Raffaele Palladino, Fiorentina’s new coach, also likes him a lot. We will have to wait and see how the market evolves, also because there are some clubs that need to sell before making new additions.”
