BERGHEM molamia, 1,600 cyclists from Italy on the roads of Val Seriana

Gazzaniga. Bicycle and Val Serianaan often winning combination: also the fifth edition of the BERGHEM molamia was a great success, with more than 1,600 people at the start coming from all over Italy and also from abroad.

The event, one of the most popular in the amateur cycling scene, has begun 1,617 athletes (149 women and 1468 men): the good weather contributed to the perfect execution of a day of celebration, on a route that offered the breathtaking landscapes of the Orobic valleys and a glimpse of the Lake Iseo.

On Sunday, at 7 sharp, the race started from the historic center, on three different routes: the Kurt of 72.3 kilometres, of which 13 are time trials, with a total difference in altitude of 1,247 metres; The Mézz of 115 kilometres, of which 16.5 are time trials and a total difference in altitude of 2,168 metres; The Lonk (Randonnée) of 183 kilometres, of which 16.5 are time trials and a total difference in altitude of 3,350 metres.
