“The people of sportforall will color the Romagna Riviera between June and July – said the national president of Uisp Tiziano Pesce during the national presentation which was held on Thursday 13 June – they will in fact 32,500 participants at the “Sportpertutti Fest 2024″ for a whirlwind of events and workshops on the occasion of some of the major finals and national events of the Uisp Championships, with swimming, volleyball, basketball, football”.
“A record number of participants which testifies to the positive impact of sportforall on tourism and the local economy in the name of health, sustainable development and the social value of sport”, said Simone Imola, sports councilor of the Municipality of Riccione .

Weekend full of sports

Sportpertutti Fest 2024 will come alive this weekend, with basketball and swimming. Friday 14 June, spotlight on Riccione Swimming Stadiumwhere they will go into the pool 4,000 athletes from 8 to 20 years. At the same time, until Sunday, on the parquet of 20 gyms in Rimini and Riccione they will take the field further 100 teams from all over Italy for the Uisp men’s and women’s basketball finals and national events. They will complete this weekend’s program, the Uisp wheelchair basketball national finalswith 8 teams who will compete for the title in the Eurocamp facilities in Cesenatico. It is possible to follow the progress of the Uisp national finals and Sportpertutti Fest from the national website set up for this event, from the national Uisp social networks and from the website www.uisp.it and from the social networks and websites of the Sda Uisp Swimming, Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer.
Other details of the event, which enjoys the support of the Emilia Romagna Region and the patronage of the Municipalities of Riccione and Rimini, were illustrated by Enrico Balestra, president of Uisp Emilia Romagna; Claudio Aulizio, Digital Promoter administrator and Massimiliano Benedetti, technical director of the Riccione sports club.

Thousands of people, especially young people, will reach the Romagna Riviera from all over Italy and will be based at the Uisp Village of the “Sportpertutti Fest 2024” which will be built near Operà, via Goethe 46, located in the Marano area, the border area between Rimini and Riccione .
The prologue of Sportpertutti Fest was held in Cesenatico with the Uisp national finals of men’s and women’s artistic gymnastics, with 3000 young people. The conclusion of the event was held on June 13th with free performances and a final party with the participants.

The other appointments

Here are some of the events scheduled in the next few days. From Thursday 20 June, volleyball and football will be on the scene in Rimini. Spotlight on volleyball with the review, on the evening of 22nd a party with dinner at the Frontemare and on Sunday 23rd June, in the morning, awards ceremonies and final party for the 20th anniversary of the Uisp volleyball championships in Rimini. Uisp football will enter the scene on Friday 21 June, with the finals to be held in various fields in Rimini from morning to evening. The final phase of the Goal 5 Project is scheduled for Saturday 22 June, which takes inspiration from the art. 5 of the 2030 Agenda, against violence against women and rights for gender equality. Four mixed teams will take to the field, made up of men and women, who will create a quadrangular.
The final weekend of Sportpertutti Fest will open on Thursday 4 July with the Junior Volleyball Festival and an evening event organized together with the participants in the Festival del Sole (30 June-5 July), the largest free gymnastics event held in our Village. The program will also be repeated on Friday 5 July, coinciding with the Notte Rosa. The Volleyball Finals will continue on Saturday 6 July and a final event is planned with the presentation of the Monitora Project, organized by the national Uisp, new actions against discrimination to promote good practices for an inclusive sport. To complete the program, the final part of the Junior Volleyball Festival will be held on Sunday 7 July in Rimini, with awards and a final party.
