Bastianini and Vinales KTM Tech3 MotoGP riders in 2025

A young and hungry couple. So KTM announces Enea Bastianini and Maverick Viñales, the two riders chosen to race in the Tech 3 team of the Austrian team in 2025. They will therefore be the ones to seek a relaunch with the satellite team’s bikes after they leave the official Ducati and Aprilia teams respectively at the end of the season. The Italian and Spaniard will have the full-factory 2025 KTM RC16 as part of a multi-year deal and will form an orange quartet with the factory team featuring Brad Binder and Pedro Acosta.

palmares

Bastianini, who leaves the factory Ducati to make room for Marc Marquez, made his debut in the MotoGP 10 years ago. He achieved six victories and more than 30 podiums in both Moto3 and Moto2, the class of which he became world champion in 2020. In 2021 he made the leap to MotoGP at the age of 23: the score is 5 victories and 12 podiums over the course of his three years and a half disputed so far. Viñales, on the other hand, already winner of a GP this season with Aprilia, became the first rider of the MotoGP™ era to triumph with three different brands. With KTM he had already won the Moto3 title in 2013. In 2015 he moved to MotoGP, in which he has achieved 10 victories so far (with 35 podiums overall). In 2017 and 2019 with Yamaha he finished in third place in the general classification of the premier class.
