In the next lines, we will try to understand something more about this little gem, which is ready to break the bank in terms of the market.

KTM, everything changes with the new 990 Adventure

During a road test, it was caught in some shots by “Motorrad” the one that should be the new one KTM 990 Adventure. The front is completely revised when compared to today’s Adventure range, with a line that appears to be more fluid and cleaner. The headlight unit is brand new, with two side lights on its sides, and it should be the daytime headlights, without too many doubts.

The front has rather square lines, and this is certainly the part that catches the eye the most, and the display has also been verticalised, with the TFT screen positioned like roadbooks. There is also no lack of connection to the smartphone.

The silhouette is much slimmer than the 890, while the frame is derived from the steel trellis unit of the 990 Duke that you see here in the shot above, from which it then differs in everything else. The engine displacement increases to 904 cc, while remaining a parallel twin. The power is exceptional, equal to 123 horsepower at 9,500 rpmwhile the torque is 103 Nm and the peak is reached at 6,750 rpm.

At the moment, There is little other information about this KTM, and officially, its name is not even known. More precise information will certainly arrive in the coming weeks, but it is clear that there is great anticipation for a model of this type. The Austrian company wants to get serious and is ready to surprise its fans.
