It had been closed since the beginning of December, when a piece of the false ceiling suddenly fell, luckily without hitting anyone. In recent days, the Mental Health Center of Chieriin Strada Fontaneto 28, is back in business, after a series of works that lasted much longer than expected: six months instead of one, due to some complications that emerged during the construction site.
Now the structure hosts again the day-time centre for disabled people and interviews with psychologists, psychiatrists, nurses and educators. They continued even during the closure, when the ASL To5 had moved the activities to other locations, with some discomfort and perplexity on the part of the users and their families.
For the future, the Center plans to strengthen its activities. The first part could materialize already in the next few months, with a new space for discussion and socialization for families Fontaneto road. Here, subsequently, in the external area, a tennis court could also arrive Beach volley and a fenced space with some animals. The new features will be presented on Friday 14 June at 5pm, when the start of summer party is scheduled.
