Great football enters the homes of Italians, but only by subscription. Sky acquired (last year) the television rights to Championsfrom the Conference and of theEurope League. A very important agreement between the television broadcaster and UEFA which is around 660 million euros. As reported by Il Sole 24Ore, the matches will be broadcast exclusively by the Comcast-owned broadcaster and by no other broadcaster.

The exception
The only exception to this deal is the best Champions League match on Wednesday which will still be available on Amazon Prime. To attend all the matches of Milan, Inter, Juventus, Bologna, Atalanta, Fiorentina, Roma and Lazio, Italian fans will have to purchase a Sky subscription. The broadcaster has acquired the rights to matches from next season, with the current season ending on June 30. The agreement was reached with UEFA until 2027.
Furthermore, from next year there will be a clear change in the format of the most important European competition. The Champions League will be played over 11 months, with a 36-team group with 8 matches for each team replacing the initial phase of the competition. The matches will be 47% more than the total of previous editions
