the complaint against Inter is a case

Exposed, prosecutors and typhoid: football in 2024 seems to have taken a decidedly different turn compared to the past and when social media is involved, controversy is just around the corner. Once again Inter and Juventus are facing each other and amidst an investigation that Milan Prosecutor’s Office must evaluate precisely towards the Nerazzurri team and the registration for the latest Serie A championship. A complex and delicate situation which now also triggers the anger of the opposing factions and an old video which fuels the controversy.

The “Inter registration” case

First of all we need to reconstruct the story. It was started by a group of lawyers who were Juventus fans and gathered in the Jdentità Bianconera Foundation; fans who have decided to take a closer look at the corporate situation at Inter and in particular at the role that a club, the Grand Towerhad in allowing registration for the last Serie A championship. The club has in fact acted as guarantor to Inter with a “letter of patronage” which effectively replaces the institution of the guarantee.

The Foundation, however, found something wrong by claiming that the Grand Tower has never presented financial statements and was therefore unable to correctly carry out its role as guarantor. For this reason the complaints started first towards sports justice (Covisoc and FIGC) and then towards the ordinary one with the complaint which is arrived at the Milan Prosecutor’s Office.

The role of Marcello Viola

The transition from sports justice to ordinary justice could be fundamental in being able to unravel the matter by virtue of the greater powers that the investigative bodies have compared to the Federation. At the head of the Milan Prosecutor’s Officethere is Marcello Viola who in the past was also a public prosecutor of the District Anti-Mafa Directorate. So far nothing strange, except that in the last few hours a video has appeared on social media in which the magistrate is interviewed and also talks about his passion forInter complete with an office covered with photos together with some former footballers (Baggio, Ibrahimovic, Maicon and others). Just a year ago, i Juventus fans they had attacked harshly Giuseppe ChinèFIGC prosecutor, for his football passion for Napoli.

The attack of Juventus fans

That was enough for them Juventus fans to immediately launch an attack: “The mere fact that in this interview he spoke about doping and calciopoli proves that it is better for him to pass the file on to others. Obviously you didn’t mention the fake passports”, writes Simone. It’s still: “The best thing would be to refuse or pass the ball to someone else, there would be fewer doubts and less chatter.” But he also intervenes in the story Walter Giannò, the journalist who carried out the offending interview several years ago: “To suspect that he might mishandle a complaint against Inter just because he is an Inter player is disgusting”.
