Matteo Botta graduated as second year Lombard rookie champion in Rescaldina in the province of Milan. Thanks to his powerful sprint in the finishing straight, the young man from Pedale Senaghese overtook the multi-victorious Riccardo Longo of Team Serio and Giulio Gilberto Moretto (Salus Seregno) who in the final stages tried to surprise the group with a breakaway then recovered just under 50 meters from the end. For Botta, a success that is worth double given that the Rescaldina race also awarded the title of Milanese Provincial champion. In the first year’s race, Luca Ferro from Bustese Olonia confirms his place. The reigning Lombard champion beats Patruno and Cammarata.
