« At 15 I left home to pursue my volleyball dream and lived for a year in Trecate, one in Pavia and last season in Venice, the city where in a few weeks I will be graduating from scientific high school. The happiest moments of my career were certainly the fourth place in the under 18 national finals with Igor Volley Novara and the call-up for a collegiate team for the national team at the Pavesi center – he says -. In previous seasons I changed several companies and each of them similarly left me with positive memories and many lessons.”

Ilaria didn’t hesitate in choosing Esperia.

« The moment my agent told me Cremona’s proposal, I was very enthusiastic and I didn’t think twice about accepting. For a young girl like me, it’s a great opportunity to improve and gain experience, as well as giving my contribution to the team to achieve all the objectives we set ourselves, in a challenging and hard-fought championship like the A2.”

The new gialloblù libero will wear the number 7 shirt.

« It is the number that connects me to two important people in my life: my sister Cecilia, for whom I love immensely and my first coach Simone Gualtieri, who made me fall in love with this sport and shaped me as a person and athlete. I can’t wait to get started and meet you all! Greetings to all the fans, see you soon! ».
