Juve’s pressure on Rabiot is now across the board. In short, the salary issue could be overcome by the new cost reduction plan, which the club intends to carry forward without any distinction. Rather, Juve would give Rabiot the opportunity to play in the most important competitions: not only the new Super Champions League but also the Club World Cup, and on this last front the gap with other contenders – even the richest in the Premier League – becomes considerable. Good material for the evaluations which are in full swing: veiled confidence filters through from Continassa regarding the possibility of retaining the player, also because positive signals are arriving from the Rabiot front. The club, with this renewal, would avoid spending money on a top player with those characteristics and would keep its hands free to attack other profiles: Giuntoli’s first target is Koopmeiners, for whom an agreement will have to be found with the Atalanta.
