The 2023-2024 Serie A football season has endedthe top Italian championship has expressed all its verdicts at the end of this intense season. Inter became Italian champions, the neroazzurri won their twentieth scudetto in history. The Milanese dominated the second part of the championship, bringing home the second star in their history and succeeding Napoli in the roll of honour.
Inter will play in the next one Champions League together with Milan (comeback second), to Juventus (fell to the distance after holding their own against Inter in the first round), to Atalanta (who among other things won the Europa League) e at Bologna (in his first appearance in the top continental tournament since changing his name). La Dea will overtake Juventus in third place if they beat Fiorentina in injury time, the Bolognese are fifth.
Roma (sixth) and Lazio (seventh) will represent Italy in the Europa League. Fiorentina will go to the Conference League if they lose the Conference League final against Olympiakos, otherwise the Viola will go to the Europa League (there would thus be three Serie A teams in the second continental competition) and Torino will go to the Conference League (ninth in the ranking). Napoli, who celebrated the Scudetto only twelve months ago, finish tenth and are out of Europe.
The eight teams qualified for the international events will be seeded for the next Italian Cup. Inter and Milan have qualified for the Italian Super Cup, in which the Italian Cup finalists (Juventus and Atalanta) will also participate..
