Brad Pitt will be the protagonist of a film set in the world of Formula 1 and he really did his best to get into character. Producer Jerry Bruckheimer has revealed the crazy and long preparation the Hollywood star underwent.

The film by license plate Apple Studiosafter setbacks and postponements, finally has one exit date: June 27, 2025. It will remain in theaters IMAX for two weeks and will subsequently be distributed on Apple TV+. The producer of the film, Jerry Bruckheimerhe told People a fun backstory on the process Pitt went through to prepare for his role.

Brad Pittwhich we haven’t seen on the big screen since Babylon (2022), has meticulously prepared for his big comeback. Apparently, the star was born to play this role. “He trained for four or five months,” declared Bruckheimer, “he is an extraordinary pilot. In fact, some F1 drivers have said he is a natural athlete. In July 2023, Brad Pitt was intercepted atthe British Grand Prix at the Silverstone circuit in Northamptonshire. He was busy with the resumed and, not surprisingly, he was wearing a racing suit. Interviewed by Sky Sportssaid: “We’re having so much fun, laughing, it’s the best moment of my life.”

The actor then raised the bar, promising that, in Apexwe’ll see a massive dose of heart-pounding sequences: “I’ll tell you what’s amazing, you’ll see cameras going out all over the car, bursts of speed you’ve never seenyou’ve never seen G Forces like these, it’s really exciting.”
