On the “key words” of the Juventus playoffs. «Humility and energy. We will play with these weapons to try to compete with a top-level club like Milan: the history of our club says so, we don’t look at what we lack but we put our approach and mentality into play. We will give everything.”
On the season. «We are the fourth club in Italy for official matches played this year, if we wanted to list them we would have all the alibis in the world considering bad luck and injuries. But we are proud – more than the results – of having opened a new technical path, managing to compete at the same time. We fought, we are deservedly in the playoffs, we brought back enthusiasm, we have two boys like Ellis and Niang who are candidates for the best under 22 award in Serie A: all this is part of the club model we want to become. I can only be satisfied with all this, but we are not here to be extras.”
On the future. «All the club’s indicators say that we are attractive, that we create value, that we are growing. In two years we have gone from a 4.2 million to over 5 million budget, these are numbers in our budget, and we don’t want to stop there. Continuing to innovate, to improve, to grow: with ambitious goals, but with humility and the desire to do.”
