Alessia Intiso died at the age of 23, after her brain death was confirmed. It was clear from the start that the situation was serious. Alessia was taking part as assistant coach in the match between her team, Futura Volley and Volley Rins Mede at the sports hall in Mezzana Corti, in the Pavia area.

The fatal illness during the volleyball match

The young woman, originally from Cava Manara, had said during the match that she needed the bathroom due to a severe headache, then her failure to return had triggered the alarm. She was treated to cerebral hemorrhagea loss that leaves one astonished and which can be better understood by reading the messages dedicated to the 23-year-old on social media.

Her club Futura Volley wanted to remember her with a touching message on social media: “Daughter, sister, friend, partner, coach, you were all this for us and seeing you fly away to what we call Home caused enormous sorrow in all our hearts. . You have been a point of reference for our girls this season, an ever-present confidant and always attentive to their needs.
