UPDATING NEWS – Traffic in the southern area of Cremona has been difficult since late morning today, due to the 57th edition of the Circuito del Porto, an international sporting event which, with the spectacle of the 176 cyclists competing, amply repays the difficulty in leaving or returning from the garages in streets usually invaded by car traffic such as viale Po, via Massarotti and via Trebbia.
An edition marked by beautiful weather, with 31 teams covering the 12,850 km circuit to be covered 14 times for a total of 179 km of racing.
From the early morning the local police took steps to remove the parked cars (with some removals) and subsequently the organisation’s volunteers manned the intersections. The race started at 1.20pm and was expected to end in the second part of the afternoon.
To follow the event this is the programming of the Cremona1 broadcaster:
– from 4.30 pm the connection windows during the Grigiorossa Live
– at 9pm the last hour of the race will be postponed with the arrival and interviews
Also on Tuesday 7 May, special Porto Circuit at 8.30pm.
